"What a gorgeous dress" said a woman at the Registration Desk while this  dress was hanging on a luggage rack before being worn to a Wedding given at the Remington Hotel, in Houston, Texas, for exactly 5 hours, and that was it...

We did things like that back in the day; it was exciting to buy a special dress for a wedding, and another, and another, for as many weddings there were that year...because, "one just wasn't seen in the same dress twice by the same people..."

It was Springtime in France...worn on the Riviera in Cannes at the Carlton Hotel Restaurant during the Cannes Film Festival. I remember the elegant dinner and the Merlot. Do you remember who won the Palm d'Or that year?
